It appears that Justin Bieber is ready to move in the wake of his weekend photo scandal. After vaguely apologizing to his Twitter followers when photos leaked that seemed to show the 18-year-old smoking a joint, he decided to put the focus squarely on his music.
He tweeted out the titles for two new tracks set to make their debut on his January 29 acoustic album, Believe Acoustic: “I Would” and “Yellow Raincoat.” Bieber had previously teased that a mysterious track #8 would also make the cut, and it seems that his Believe track “Fall” is it.
The album was originally set to include 10 songs, but shortly after the photo scandal erupted, on Sunday, Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun shared that one more song has been recorded for the release. He wrote, “up early working hard to get this last minute very heartfelt song the kid just wrote onto the #BelieveAcoustic album. #11songs.”
Whatever the song ends up being about, Bieber had this message for his followers regarding the album release, writing, “i got some things to say. #23Days #11Songs #BELIEVEacoustic #COUNTDOWN.”
The album is not only getting some new songs, but also some additional star power. It’s been hinted that he’s worked with both Nick Jonas and Ed Sheeran on the album. Bieber is currently back on the road after kicking off a new leg of his Believe tour over the weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah. On Monday (January 7) he will play the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.
