About

The Challenge

We paired up enemies in "Rivals" and old flames in "Battle of the Exes," now, for the first time ever, it will be an all out battle for Real World supremacy. "The Challenge: Battle of the Seasons" reunites cast members from seven of the Real World's most memorable seasons. Within each team, there are exes, rivalries, current romances, best friendships and everything in between that could either help or hurt them in their goal to become the last season standing. And to make matters more intense, in competing for $350,000 in grand prizes, the former roommates may have to turn on each other to secure their own safety in the game.

St Thomas

St. Thomas

Team St. Thomas may be fresh off the boat from Hassel Island, but don't underestimate this rookie squad. While veterans have historically had the upper hand on The Challenge, Trey, Laura, Marie, and Robb hope to prove newbies can compete with the best of them. Marie worries, "I'm anxious because rookies are sacrificial lambs. They usually get cut in the first week." Team St. Thomas is well rounded both athletically and strategically, with former college football player Trey providing the muscle while party-girl Marie moves to control their political game. Complicating everything, however, is the unresolved tension between couples Marie & Robb and Trey & Laura, who never saw eye-to-eye during their season. Will this fearless foursome find a way to come together? Or will fresh emotional wounds rip them apart?

San Diego

San Diego

Everything has turned upside down since the last time we saw Team San Diego. Blonde bombshell Ashley and muscle jock Zach were inseparable lovers during their season, but after a sour breakup, Zach confesses, "Ashley ripped my heart out, put it in a blender and served it to me for breakfast." But how will Ashley react when Zach hooks up with another girl in the house? Hothead Frank enters the game hell-bent on leading his team, but Zach has other ideas. These two alpha males hated each other during their season, but arrive at Battle of the Seasons hoping to change that, as Frank admits, "The thing that means the most to me is being able to cross the finish line with Zach. I wouldn't want to cross the finish line with anybody else." Frank and Zach may be friends for now, but will the pressures of the game reignite their past hatred? Rounding out the team is Sam, the least athletic and most politically inept teammate, who is out to prove to her team that she is a worthy asset. Will San Diego be able to start fresh and compete with a clean slate? Or will their toxic past rise up and destroy their chances of winning?

New Orleans

New Orleans

Three years removed from a Real World experience laced with drama, Team New Orleans arrives in Turkey with some serious excess baggage. Knight and Jemmye may have found love in NOLA, but their relationship recently ended when Knight cheated on Jemmye with his ex-girlfriend. Even more than winning The Challenge, Knight hopes to win back Jemmye's heart and convince her he's a changed man, "She's playing hard to get, but I'm persistent." Knight will also have to set aside his differences with Preston, who is far more at home on the dance floor than the playing field. "It's not like I ever was doing sports or anything. I think for me, my personal challenge is going to be to keep my heart in it," Preston notes. Hoping to prove she's more than just her stunning good looks, McKenzie rounds out the team, explaining, "I want to show everyone that I am a little angel, but I can also be as intense as they are." Can New Orleans put their issues on the back burner for the sake of competition? Or will drama ruin their chance at victory?

Las vegas

Las Vegas

Las Vegas is this season's wild card, as Challenge veterans Trishelle and Alton of The Real World: Las Vegas pair with Back to Las Vegas's Nany and Dustin to form the only team combining two casts. While other teams deal with old grudges, Las Vegas's lack of history could work out in their favor. "A lot of other teams can't stand each other. We're starting fresh," Nany explains. Although Trishelle and Alton are the oldest competitors in the game, their confidence hasn't waned a bit. Trishelle's skills as a professional poker player will be valuable when it comes to game strategy, while Alton remains a physical threat in any challenge. He boasts, "I feel like I'm actually in the best shape of my life, ever. I feel like Alton 2.0." Rookie Nany hopes to prove herself as one of the game's fiercest female players and after being sidelined with a knee injury in Battle of the Exes, Dustin hopes not only to bring home a win, but to finally "put a ring on it" when it comes to former castmate Heather, confessing, "I live with the girl I love now and the only thing left to do is get the ring. This is a real love and I'm ready to make the commitment." Team Las Vegas has all the elements to be a major threat, but with four dynamic personalities involved, could this team's emotional highs and lows be their downfall?

Cancun

Cancun

Team Cancun enters Battle of the Seasons confident that they are the most unified team in the game, claiming that they've grown as close as a family. Having been outsmarted by Wes on Fresh Meat II, former NFL punter and current male model CJ is out to prove he's no chump, vowing, "Just because you model doesn't mean you have to be dumb. I can be a model, but I can be smart in my own ways." Joining CJ is Derek, who after being eliminated first on Cutthroat, is eager to show his team that he has what it takes to compete. Rounding out the team are former Rivals Jonna and Jasmine, who have promised to squash their habitual bickering to unite as teammates. But with these two hot-tempered vixens, anything is possible. However, Jonna has little time for Jasmine when she cuddles up with a hunky player on an opposing team, a move that could infuriate other competitors. But opposing teams beware because, as Jasmine warns, "Anyone messes with my family, they're in for a rude awakening!" Will Cancun's close-knit bond carry them through to the end? Or will political backlash tear this team apart?
