The “Jersey Shore” house in Seaside Heights might have sidestepped the worst of Hurricane Sandy, but some neighborhoods across Staten Island weren’t as fortunate. The massive storm left 23 residents dead, more than 100,000 without power and even more unimaginable damage across the New York City borough, according to the Staten Island Advance. Rather than sit idly by and watch his beloved hometown go up in flames, Vinny Guadagnino rolled up his sleeves, slapped on some gloves and got to work.
“Helping clean up this unbelievable destruction on Staten Island” Vinny tweeted alongside a photo featuring him surrounded by broken chairs, ruined mattresses and quite possibly everything including the kitchen sink. Hey, if Roger can take to the seas to help out, we’re glad Vinny is repping the “Jersey Shore” crew on land. Surely this photo involves a family in need, and by the looks of things, Vin was determined to keep up the hard work. Not even grimy sweats could stop him from lending a hand.
