The “Jersey Shore” house weathered the storm, but the cast’s place of employment for four straight summers wasn’t so lucky. In this sneak peek of tonight’s “Restore the Shore” fundraising special, Shore Store owner Danny shows Pauly D and Vinny around the ravaged shop. Home to many fun times and silly pranks, the place is now wrecked–the roof is separated from the building and the merchandise is soaked in water–and as a viewer, the reality of the situation in Seaside Heights leaves a pit in your stomach. This is no simple fix.
Upon inspection, Pauly admits that he wasn’t expecting to see so much damage. “There’s actually benches from the boardwalk inside this place,” he says. “Everything’s destroyed.”
The clip below hits the message home that all of our help is needed to rebuild. Please tune-in for the “Restore the Shore” telethon tonight at 11:30pm et/8:30pm et on-air, online or on your mobile phone, which will feature performances by Gym Class Heroes and Phillip Phillips, as well as appearances by your favourite celebrities, including the cast of “Jersey Shore.”
