In tonight’s (November 20) episode of MTV’s “Catfish: The TV Show,”viewers are introduced to Trina — who goes by a very descriptive nickname.
“She goes by Trina the Natural because her body is 100 percent natural and no one believes that it is, because she’s got a really tiny waist and a badonkadonk,” filmmaker Max Joseph, who stars on and helped create the docudrama, told MTV News of Trina’s 36/24/41 measurements.
The 24-year-old from Silver Spring, Maryland, fell in love via MySpace with a guy who goes by the name Scorpio. Both work as exotic dancers and bonded over their occupation.
“For the first time in her life, she feels like she’s connected with someone who really understands her career, because a lot of the time for exotic dancers, obviously, that’s an obstacle when dating,” creator and star Nev Schulman said. “People don’t like it. They get jealous, they judge you. So here, she finally found someone who, like her, is in the same profession. He’s very handsome, incredibly well-built.”
Although the two have been talking for more than a year, Scorpio’s day-to-day obligations (“He’s got a busy schedule, he’s got kids, and he travels a lot so it’s hard for him to find time,” Nev explained) have prevented the pair from connecting in person — that is, until now.
Will the object of Trina’s affection turnout to be the real deal? Or, like Nev himself, has Trina been Catfished? There’s only one way to find out: Tune in tonight. And if Trina’s online love doesn’t pan out as planned, not to worry: We know a certain someone who might be interested in filling Scorpio’s shoes. “Max has a big crush on Trina,” Nev blabbed.
