While a lot of the love hopefuls on “Catfish” think their Internet significant others are regular folks just like them, on the next episode, Keyonnah is convinced her online boyfriend is none other than rapper and “106 & Park” host Bow Wow. The 19-year-old single mom tells Nev and Max in the sneak peek below that she, as a huge fan, reached out to Bow Wow through a fan page one day, and couldn’t believe it when she not only received a response from the star, but began chatting on the phone and texting with him daily.
While Keyonnah was skeptical because they’ve never so much as video-chatted, when Bow Wow sent her over $10,000, she began to think that he was the real deal. ”Who in their right mind would send me this amount of money and they haven’t seen me?” she rationalizes to the love detectives in the clip. The guys are naturally dubious of her celebrity boyfriend, but commit to helping Keyonnah learn the truth. “If you’re serious…we’d love to help you,” Nev assures her.
Check out the video, and tune in to the episode on Tuesday at 10e/7p to see how Keyonnah’s story plays out!
