Good news, “Catfish” fans! Christmas just came early, because your new favorite show is returning for a second season! That’s right, MTV just announced that Nev and Max will be once again guiding another group of web-savvy lonely hearts to one another, in hopes that their online relationships become real ones.
“‘Catfish: The TV Show’ has truly captured the zeitgeist of the digital dating age,” said Dave Sirulnick, Executive Producer of the series. And we agree! Never before has a TV show really honed in on the issues and intricacies of online dating, and the immensely positive response has been proof of the show’s success. We’re only halfway through the first season, and we’re already excited for what’s to come. Hopefully there will be some more happy endings during its sophomore installment! We’re crossing our fingers for that.
