Jordan started a new life in Texas with her boyfriend on this week’s episode of “16 and Pregnant,” but when her best friend visited with a treasure trove of mementos, the expectant mom began reminiscing about her past — and realizing that her future isn’t as bright as she’d like.
“I hate looking at pictures, like old ones,” Jordan tells her pal Sugar in the bonus scene below. “I feel like I don’t look older — I just feel like when I look at that, I’m like, ‘I was a teenager.’ Now I feel old.”
As the two sift through snapshots — and reminisce about their more carefree days — Sugar tries to reassure her friend. “You’re not old,” she says.
Jordan’s reply: “Believe me, [with] all the back pain, I feel old.”
The pregnant teen had left her safety net in Baltimore for greener pastures in Texas: There, her boyfriend Derek had a job offer. And after exhausting all of their housing options back home, the couple had the promise of a roof over their heads in the Lone Star State, with Derek’s dad offering them a room in his apartment.
But Jordan’s improving fortune didn’t stop her from feeling envious of Sugar, who’ll soon begin college. “I’m happy that you get to go now and do your own thing,” Jordan says. “I wish I could be going to college, or doing something.”
Check out the clip, and tune in for two new back-to-back episodes of “16 and Pregnant,” starting at 10e/7p on Monday.
